Why did you start writing?
Because of the fascination for the combination of crossing boundaries, physical activities and creative output
What is your best memory connected to graffiti?
Every time when a plan that I made up in my head becomes reality and works out just fine
Tell me about the first time you remember painting graffiti ?
I remember going to some abandoned station buildings as child with my cousin, painting our surname with spray cans from homedepot that our grandma gave us money for to paint our skateboards.
Why do you write your tag name?
I was very limited to the few letters I could make to my expectations and I was heavily influenced by the logos of metal bands like Metallica, etc.
What were the biggest challenges when starting to do graffiti?
Financing materials and finding somebody to explain the rules and guidelines to understand how this community works so you have an idea if you want to follow them or ignore them.
In my case, I didn’t have anybody to explain the most simple things and I painted for some years after my own conclusions which turned out bad for me.

Three best advises for new graffiti writers?
- Educate yourself
- Sketch a lot,
- Don’t take the rules to seriously after you know them.
Some of the most popular graffiti is standing out exactly because itis breaking the rules of graffiti itself and is playing with different design influences instead of sticking to the Hip Hop culture.
I am trying to spread out into different fields and explore what can be done with the textures and patterns I have developed.
We asked SKIRL to make a GraffitiBible tag in his style
